Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use SearchDose, a web application that shows website owners which SEO work is likely to help their site most. By creating an account or using SearchDose, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and able to enter into a contract to use SearchDose. Give us accurate information, keep your password safe and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity on your account.

Connecting Google Search Console

Connecting Search Console is optional. By connecting it, you confirm that you are allowed to access the data in that account and to use it with SearchDose. Our access is read-only, and our use of that data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can remove our access at any time from your Google Account permissions page. Some features will not work without it.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights through the service;
• access data or sites you are not authorised to access;
• attempt to bypass security or rate limits, or disrupt the service;
• scrape, resell or copy the service, or use it to build a competing product;
• let other people use your account.

Your data

You keep all rights to your data. You give us permission to process it only as needed to run and improve the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our service

We own SearchDose, including its software, design and brand. You may use it for your own business while these terms apply. We may change, add or remove features as the product develops.

Recommendations and results

SearchDose's recommendations and traffic estimates are informed guesses, not promises. Search rankings depend on factors outside our control, including search engines themselves. You decide what to change on your site and are responsible for those changes. SearchDose is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.

Fees

If we introduce paid plans, we will show you the price and terms before you are charged. You will never be moved to a paid plan without agreeing to it.

Ending your use

You can stop using SearchDose at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing hello@searchdose.com. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we need to in order to protect the service or comply with the law.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, and do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, SearchDose is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue, traffic, rankings or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and US$100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.

Changes to these terms

We will update the date above when these terms change and tell you about significant changes by email or in the app. If you keep using SearchDose after a change takes effect, the new terms apply.
